Google Nexus 7 merupakan smartphone tablet terbaru yang dikelurkan oleh Google. Google Nexus 7 dikeluarkan google akhir Juni 2012 ini. Google dan ASUS telah bekerja sama untuk membuat smartphone tablet mereka. Setelah sebelumnya banyak sekali perusahaan yang mengeluarkan tablet untuk menyaingi Ipad dari Apple, seperti Microsoft yang mengeluarkan Tablet Surface nya dan Samsung yang mengeluarkan Galaxy Tab nya. Sekarang saatnya Google juga ikut bersaing dengan meluncurkan Google Nexus 7 nya .

Google Nexus 7 ini memiliki ukuran layar sebesar 7 inch dengan layar HD memiliki resolusi 1280x800 dengan Back-lit IPS display dan Corning Glass yang tahan gores. Nexus 7 ini memiliki berat 340 grams . Memory RAM dari tablet ini adalah 1 GB dan dilengkapi dengan kapasitas penyimpanan internal sebesar 8 atau 16 GB .
Google Nexus 7 juga dilengkapi dengan sistem operasi Android 4.1 Jelly Bean yang merupakan OS android terbaru yang mempunyai performa lebih cepat dan halus. Nexus 7 juga didukugn dengan processor NVIDIA Tegra 3 yang sudah dilengkapi NFC.
